Problem, approach and result
The challenge
Leave was tracked differently in each country. Payroll deductions depended on messages and memory rather than a single record.
What I did
- Built one leave register with country-specific rules
- Added balances, approvals and monthly summaries
- Connected the monthly summary to payroll inputs
The result
Payroll inputs for leave came from one sheet, and balances were visible to managers at any time.
